I have run in a few 5k's and two 10k and one 15k.  My best time for a 5k is 25:02 minutes.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I hope to continue to stay active running and possibly improve my previous running times.

Personal:

I'm married with four children from 6 years old up to 13 years old. A couple of years ago I lost 60 lbs and started running to keep it off.  I now run 20 miles a week with a neighbor and enjoy the ability to exercise.

Me and Jody went out a little early and I felt fine for the first couple miles then I got some pain in my kidney's that stuck around for the rest of the run. Jody was a speed demon today.

I came home and drank a bunch of water. My kidney's feel fine now so hopefully it was a one time thing.

We went on a light run today with a neighbor of ours and Laurie. It was nice to be able to visit as we went and it was a good day for my legs. They have been sore for the last few days and I couldn't figure out why but my brain finally kicked in and I remembered riding on saturday. Aparently my legs are not up to bike riding without protest yet.

Anyway back to long and pushing it tomorrow.

We went for our long run today and I started feeling really good and surprisingly I felt good the entire time. We did our hard uphill route for the first 3 miles but after that it is all down hill.Today we added on some to get the 10 and we went up this little road, When looking at it from the bottom it didn't look like much but it was steeper than I was ready for. I survived and then it was all down hill and I was into it the entire time. Jody still kicked my butt, but that is all right. I wish all days were like today.

Getting started this morning kicked my butt, but after a mile I felt good and got into the groove. Didn't push it at all today just let my momentum carry me. Jody is going out of town until Wednesday. So we shall see if I get out on my own. Wish me luck!
