My daughter left for Oakcrest this morning so I had to skip my morning run. It took all day to get it in but I finally got it at 9:00 tonight. I ran around the neighborhood and stayed close to home so the kids could get me if they needed me. I also saw lots of neighbors so I had lots of stops to visit. It felt good to get out and enjoy the slight breeze.

I went out with Jody today and braved the wind. We tried to stay out of it as much as possible so the first 1.5 miles was into it so we could hopefully be wind free the remaining miles. However the wind seemed to be all over today. I ran out of steam at about mile 4. I just couldn't get going any faster than I  was going. But other than that is was a good run.

Now its off to the shower and get the house cleaned up!

Have a good day!!

Me and Jody were going  to go running last night but she couldn't so I called a neighbor and we did 3 miles together. We did a light jog for the first half and then walked home.

We went out this morning and kept our run light and easy. It was nice to just enjoy the run and not to worry about speed. We wanted to keep it easy with the 5k tomorrow. Now I get to work on the kitchen.  We finally got all our cabinets in and the countertops. I picked up the new stove and microwave yesterday but we  haven't put them in yet. Some molding and cleanup and we will be done.
