I have run in a few 5k's and two 10k and one 15k.  My best time for a 5k is 25:02 minutes.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I hope to continue to stay active running and possibly improve my previous running times.

Personal:

I'm married with four children from 6 years old up to 13 years old. A couple of years ago I lost 60 lbs and started running to keep it off.  I now run 20 miles a week with a neighbor and enjoy the ability to exercise.

Jolynn joined this morning for the first 2.5 miles and then me and Jody went an additional 4.5. I was tired this morning and felt like I was dragging. Maybe if I would get to bed earlier it would probably benefit me tons.  Yesterday we were given a puppy and I had forgot how much babysitting they take.  I couldn't just jump out of bed and go. I had to take her out to go potty and then clean up the mess she made when she came in and went potty. She hasn't quite got the idea yet.  So watch your front porches I may be giving her away if it becomes too much.  Other than my children would probably beat me for it.

I gave blood yesterday and that always means the next day I have little energy. However my little energy was even worse today. I couldn't get into it at all. So I was greatful to get what I got. Day off tomorrow and back at it on Thursday. Hopefully with more energy!

We went on tuesday and I had a hard run. I figured it was from giving blood. But then later in the day I came down with this cold. So now I  believe it was a combination of both. Anyway I was going to go this morning but the cold has moved into my chest and throat and I figures running out in the cold was probably going to do more damage than good. So hopefully tomorrow I will feel up to venturing out and finally getting in a run.

Ive had this awful cold so I was just hoping to complete our run today.  The first 2 miles were hard to breath. But after that things got pretty smooth for me up until the last mile. My mind and body were no longer into it. All in all I did pretty good. Now that I am home though my body is drained. I have a softball game in an hour so I am going to go power nap for 20 minutes and hopefully recharge myself.
