Long time no blog. I am still at it I just haven't been computing it. We just got back from vacation. We went camping over the weekend. I have got my neighbor talked into doing a half marathon the end of March so I think we are going to train for that. I am missing Jody while she has been in India. Hopefully she is having a great time away from all this cold weather. Anyway I will try to get back in the blogging groove!!

Ran with Renee today. I am definitely ready for some warmer weather to run in. But overall it was a uneventful good run.

Me and Renee kept it easy today so we can do a longer run tomorrow. There is a half marathon at the end of March that we have decided to do. The sun was out and shining while we ran today and it felt wonderful.

My husband took me and Renee out and we ran home this morning. I have been coming down with a cold so I wasn't sure how it would go. But I felt great the entire time and finished feeling good.

Great running to all!

No run for me today I felt yucky this morning and am fighting a yucky cold. Hopefully I will get a good nights sleep and all will be great again tomorrow!

Me and Jody went out this morning I have been feeling bad and today was no better. I felt pretty good when we started but by the end my stomach was in turmoil. I was very glad we cut it short today Im not sure my body would have made it any further. I will be happy when this cold leaves my family and we are all feeling better. It was really nice weather out today though and that has been a nice change from the freezing cold.

I ran with Renee this morning. We took both of my dogs and my little beagle would not quit barking at everything. I'm ready to remove her barker box! It was a nice easy run tomorrow we are doing a long run if the weather permits. I assume we will actually do a long run either way I will just be forced to be a gerbil and run laps if the weather is yucky outside. Everyone pray for good weather.

I ran with Jody early this morning 4 miles through the fitness center. We kept a comfortable pace. A little later this morning I ran with Renee 10 miles. We ran up to the canal and then went out 5 miles and back.  We stayed really slow and just enjoyed the snow off and on. The sun decided to peek out for about 5 minutes and then it was gone for the rest of the time. At least there was no wind and very little snow. We saw lots of dogs along the canal however and lots of barking. I was glad I left my dogs home on that run!

I went out with Jody this morning. Crash (my dog) was rebelling about going today so I went without him. But he felt sure that he hd earned his treat for running when I got home. Go figure. Anyway it was really nice out this morning. A couple times the wind blew and it was actually a warm breeze.. We had a good run and a good pace for me considering half of the run was up hill.

A wonderful run expecially when you figure in the fact that the wind was awful. We fan east west to avoid it and it worked out great.

Yay! Bonus points for getting out in the wind. My question though.. if you run west to avoid it don't you end up having to run into it on the way back? :-p

I went out with Jody this morning for an easy 3 mile run and to see the sun come up. It was beautiful this morning.  Then I went with Renee for 11 miles. It was much colder this morning than I wanted but I really felt great throughout the entire 14 miles.

I woke up this morning after not sleeping very well and figured there would be at least some rain. But no ran but a little northern wind, It was a little cold but not bad. Me and Jody ran  together at an easy pace that was quite good. My legs are a little sore from my long run last week so the slower pace was good. Im glad I got it done early because it got so cold today out.

No run yet today I might try to get out tonight and do a light run. Me and Renee have our longer run tomorrow so she is resting up  for it. I just need to go on my own. I have no drive to head out if noone is waiting out there. My bed is too warm and inviting. Who knows though hopefully tonight.

Yeah I made it!!!! It is something I can now cross of my list of things to do. I really wanted to finish under 2 hours but oh well. The wind was yucky and my hate for hills really showed because on the hills I just crawled up them. Overall I felt really good throughout the whole thing. My ipod died at mile 3 so I had nothing to entertain me except for my silly thoughts. I get the rest of the day off to recover now. I saw some of the runners from the group Jody runs with out there. Only for about a second until they were way far gone ahead of me. But it was great to get out and do it!

WAY TO GO PAULA!!!! Minus the wind, you would have had your under 2 for sure! It was crazy today. And those 3 hills are big ones, especially the S curve, UGHH!!!!

So, was your hair in a long braid?

I went this morning with Jodi and her sister to the race. We did a little warm up and then I couldn't find Andy so I just hung out waiting for the race to start. I have not been running as much as I was at this time last year so I was a little worried about my time. I was hoping for anything under 55 minutes. When I crossed the finish line I forgot to stop my garmin so I am not positive on the time. But I was very happy with the time, not as good as last year but only a minute slower so not to much ground has been lost.
