Running Accomplishments:

I have run in a few 5k's and two 10k and one 15k.  My best time for a 5k is 25:02 minutes. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Runs for 2008

 

June: Heart of Holladay 25:02  PR Yeah!!!

June: Westfest 5k  Will be gone camping

July 4: Murray 5k

July 24: Deseret News 10k

July19: Bryce Canyon 1/2 Full

August: Midnight Run

Long-Term Running Goals:

I hope to continue to stay active running and possibly improve my previous running times.

Personal:

I'm married with four children from 6 years old up to 13 years old. A couple of years ago I lost 60 lbs and started running to keep it off.  I now run 20 miles a week with a neighbor and enjoy the ability to exercise.

Today I got up tired and wanting to cancel on Jody, I had an awful night last night.  I also had extra kids that slept over and my 4 year old niece was up scared to sleep so needless to say it was a ruff night.  The first mile was hard and after that when I got warmed up it felt great.Jody did have to come and makesure I was still doing ok at one point however but it was good to get out and to go long.I started this running thing just wanting to get a couple miles a day, wow who would of thought, 10 miles, If you asked me if I could do this a year and a half ago I would of laughed at you. Not to mention I had no desire to do this. Now my day doesn't start until I have got my run. 

 A HOT shower is waiting for me. Then we are off to the safe kids fair.

Running is a great way to look bad and see/measure your improvements and succes, looks like you have done great with it and made some great habits!
