I have run in a few 5k's and two 10k and one 15k.  My best time for a 5k is 25:02 minutes. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Runs for 2008

 

June: Heart of Holladay 25:02  PR Yeah!!!

June: Westfest 5k  Will be gone camping

July 4: Murray 5k

July 24: Deseret News 10k

July19: Bryce Canyon 1/2 Full

August: Midnight Run

Long-Term Running Goals:

I hope to continue to stay active running and possibly improve my previous running times.

Personal:

I'm married with four children from 6 years old up to 13 years old. A couple of years ago I lost 60 lbs and started running to keep it off.  I now run 20 miles a week with a neighbor and enjoy the ability to exercise.

I wish I could bottle days like today. The sun was beautiful to watch rise this morning and it is a nice clear sunny day. I felt good the whole time running. I ran 5 miles with Jody the first half mostly up hill and then down hill coming back. Then I added on a mile and a 1half which I dont usually have any desire to even think about doing.

The best part of the run was finding a huge wheel weight for Mike. He will be so impressed.

Anyway what a great start to the week. Now if only my cabinets would come in. That would be wonderful.

Glad you had the perfect morning run! But what is a wheel weight? I'll bet you'll be glad when your kitchen is finally finished! Please post a picture of all your hard work when it's done! I'd love to see it!
